Maria!
It was a pleasure seeing Maria again after MONTHS displaced from our layoff. She was in town for family and had some downtime before returning to Mexico. She already came with ideas she wanted to run with, always a plus to me. Prior to this shoot, another of Maria’s was released with Photobruja, a fantastic photographer here in town. Though I’m never without an idea, it’s sometimes helpful when others have their own in mind. Maria wanted to hit up a laundry mat and parking garage. Both are great non-descript options!
Let me tell you about walking into a laundromat and asking a group of older gentleman if its ok if I and my model pop off a couple shots, the owner happened to be among the group and was more than willing to allow us space to shoot in his establishment. We were there maybe 20 minutes, I didn’t want to get in anyone’s way, being at the laundromat is daunting enough, but it’s made obnoxious when my ass show up with a camera I’m sure.
